Skin Care Tips – What Some Cosmaceutical Companies Are Not Telling You
Some skin care tips never mention diet or they do not give it enough attention. Let us take the essential fatty acids for example. We all know that these essential fatty acids are generally good for our health but are they really so important in skin care?
Well, they are not called essential for nothing. If we get enough of these into our diet, then we can be sure that we are maintaining enough hydration in the skin cells. They also help us to keep up our moisture levels in the epidermis and support the immune system generally. That will be of benefit to our skin.
One of the best skin care tips I know of is to go for the Mediterranean diet where there is an emphasis on the Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids. The amount of Omega 3 should be about four times the amounts of Omega 6.
If you ramp up your intake of fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, wholemeal grains, white meat and fish, then you are well on the way to healthier skin. When Jack La Lanne died recently at the age of 96, it was revealed that he never ate red meat. Red meat is also to be avoided because it tends to contain too many of the Omega 6 EFAs. The bottom line is that processed foods have tiny quantities of these essential acids.
Another one of the skin care tips that cosmaceutical companies can not be bothered to inform you about is that their products contain harmful ingredients which could damage our health. Any dangers and risks are played down. But we know that the results are downright disappointing and we do not need to be scientists to realize that.
Another fact that is not being revealed, or at least is hushed up to a great extent is that the collagen in many of the skin care products will have no effect whatsoever on your skin! That is shocking but it is true. What they are producing is collagen derived from animal and marine sources and which is totally incompatibile with our own skin’s molecular structure. That means simply that it will remain on the surface of the epidermis. Look out for the Xtend Tk ingredient which is totally different and will kick start your collagen.
The best skin care tip I can give you is to look more carefully for 100% natural skin friendly ingredients. I know that one company has made this their mission and there are no harmful chemicals in the mix either. Why not take your skincare to a whole new level which will really make a difference.
No more excuses. If you are tired of the same old worthless products that fail to live up to their promises, isn’t it time you took action? Discover a few skin care tips.
